Hailing from the blue collar wasteland of Upper Michigan, lead singer and songwriter Brandon Arend always believed there had to be a way to get out of the line for the government dole that everyone seemed to be standing in when the harsh winters hit. The son of a carpenter, he learned the trade thinking it was all there was. But, after watching the Beatles Anthology documentary on tv when he was 15, he borrowed an acoustic guitar that a friend had just gotten and sat down and learned how to play. Seeing John and Paul and George and Ringo bang away on instruments let him know exactly what he wanted to do. A few years later and a bundle of well-crafted rock tunes in his notebook he headed to Los Angeles where he met the future players of Delta and set to work honing the Delta sound at night while banging away with a hammer on recording studio during the day.
